Milford Police will have extra officers at schools in Milford on Wednesday due to a threat circulating on TikTok reporting school shootings across the country. including Snapchat. Several families reported the messages to school officials and the police. Miami Township Police investigated the message and concluded that the threat was not credible. However, the police will increase their presence in all school buildings as a precaution. School officials said they take every threat seriously and that students who threaten them face possible suspension and/or expulsion, as well as possible legal consequences.
