Milford Schools Head Anna Cutaia Receives Prestigious Honor


MILFORD, CT – Milford Schools Superintendent Anna Cutaia has been named the 2021 Connecticut PTA “Outstanding Superintendent”.

It will be celebrated at a Zoom meeting on May 5 by the state’s PTA. Cutaia has been in office since August 1, 2018 and has received great reviews for her performances and energetic enthusiasm throughout the district.

The Board of Education voted in 2019 to approve a new three-year contract with Cutaia, which included a 2.5% salary increase, which at the time brought his salary to $ 202,950.

Education Board Chair Susan Glennon said in a 2019 statement that “the board recognizes the hard work and enthusiasm of Dr. Cutaia since taking office as Superintendent of Schools public in Milford last August. community, evaluated the practices and processes in place in the district, and made immediate improvements, such as the 1: 1 Chromebook initiative and the introduction of the world language at the elementary level this fall. high quality teaching and learning that will improve opportunities and outcomes for our young people. “
