A CARE house boss in Salisbury has been named one of the best in the country.
Barchester’s Milford House is celebrating that its chief executive has reached the final stages of the 2022 Social Care Leadership Awards.
Natasha Lazovic has been shortlisted in the Executive Care Home Leader category and the care home staff and residents are very proud.
Organized by Care Talk magazine, the Social Care Leadership Awards are designed to showcase excellence in senior management in the social services sector and the winners will be announced at a ceremony at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square on Wednesday 19 october.

Originally from Serbia, Natasha trained as a nurse and came to the UK in 1994, gaining UK registration in 1996.
Natasha said: “I was so shocked when I found out I had been shortlisted, I had no idea I had even been nominated. I’m very proud to be a finalist, it kinda makes me emotional actually, it’s nice to be recognized for doing the work I love.
“I guess that means I have to do something right! I’m touched that people took the time to nominate me and I’m really, really grateful.”
Previously, she worked in a variety of care settings including the NHS and the private part of different parts of the UK and London. Natasha joined Barchester in 2014 in charge of 10 homes and progressed from Senior Regional Manager to Division Manager.
Fast forward to today, she is now the general manager of Barchester’s southern division which looks after 80 homes.

She is exceptionally hardworking and dedicated to her teams and residents. She’s an incredible leader and already a big winner in my eyes.
Milford House Care Home is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers, which aims to provide high quality care in its care homes and hospitals.
Milford House Care Home provides residential, nursing and respite care.
